Maintained and updated website, added images and edited descriptions of 1600 art pieces in the permanent collection. Photographed exhibition catalogues and merchandise for the museum store web page. Constructed new web pages weekly. Pitched and designed the museum’s blog, creating stories and photographic content. Hosted dignitaries and VIPs at museum social events.

Researched and wrote six bylined articles ranging in topics from NASA to the toxicity levels of poisons. Pitched stories and headlines, attended staff meetings and product shoots and studied the details of the entire editorial and production process.

Fire and police reporter, The Oklahoma Daily and multimedia newsgathering class, January—May 2011

Reported, photographed and prepared multimedia packages on news events. Covered grass fires (one for eight hours), sat in at the emergency operation center with the PIOs and experienced evening police ride-along.

Wrote an alumni profile on Joi Gordon, CEO of Dress for Success, and covered a journalism camp for high- school students in this MarCom Award-winning issue.
